We are working with a market-leading national law firm who are looking for an Associate Solicitor to join their Residential Property Litigation practice within their London office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Property team, focusing on contentious residential property, within the social housing and private sectors. The candidate’s duties will encompass the full range of housing management services, including leasehold management, tenancy disputes, policy drafting, risk advisory work, injunctive work, and possession claims.
The candidate’s daily duties will include drafting pleadings and witness statements, attending court hearings, and carrying out ad hoc advisories. The candidate will also advise a varied range of clients, including registered providers, developers, and private portfolio developers, running an independent caseload to support the firm’s high-profile client base.
Essential Criteria:
* 1-4 PQE;
* Strong background in housing and/or leasehold management work;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
