Involve Recruitment are looking for a Quantity Surveyor support housing maintenance and refurbishment projects across South Wales. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in reactive and planned maintenance within the social or private housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage financial aspects of maintenance and refurbishment contracts
* Prepare schedules of works, cost estimates, and valuations
* Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms
* Assess and manage variations and change control
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
* Monitor costs and deliver value for money across projects
* Support continuous improvement in commercial processes
Requirements:
* Experience in housing maintenance and refurbishment projects
* Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
* Familiarity with schedule of rates and term contracts
* Excellent analytical and organisational abilities
* Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
