Location: Unit 2 Milltown Industrial Estate, Upper Dromore Rd, Warrenpoint

Responsibilities

* Review RAMS and provide expert guidance and recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with all quality, environmental, safety, and health (QESH) policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement tailored safety programs.
* Conduct risk assessments and inspections across various sites.
* Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and contribute to internal and external audits.
* Monitor workplace health and safety risks and hazards, and implement control measures.
* Generate and maintain QESH documentation in accordance with current legislation and standards.
* Report, investigate, analyze, and document all QESH incidents thoroughly.
* Act as Safety Training Coordinator, ensuring employees receive appropriate health and safety training for their roles.
* Liaise with the organisation’s insurance provider in the event of accidents or issues.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively on all health and safety matters across teams and departments.
* Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as required to support the team and business needs.


Qualifications & Experience

* NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the engineering or construction industry in a Health & Safety role.
* Working knowledge of quality assurance within the construction industry.
* Good knowledge of safe construction methods of work.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Strong knowledge of legislation in relation to Health & Safety.
* Full UK driving licence.
