Driver Hire Reading are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing supplier to the construction industry, currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their Wokingham team.
This is a varied role combining driving duties with warehouse support, ideal for drivers who enjoy being part of a hands-on, team-focused environment.
🔧 The Role
1. Delivering and collecting goods across London and the Home Counties
2. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
3. Completing delivery paperwork accurately
4. Supporting warehouse operations (picking, packing, loading)
5. Assisting with forklift duties where required
6. Maintaining high health & safety and FORS standards
7. Ensuring professional presentation and customer service at all times
✅ Requirements
8. Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
9. CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
10. Confident driving in and around London
11. Good communication and organisational skills
12. Physically fit (manual handling required)
13. Forklift experience advantageous (training may be provided)
14. Minimum age 25 (insurance purposes)
