As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the external contractors on the repairs and maintenance service, leading a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and compliant services to residents. This is a remote role with expectations to be in the office only on a few occasions a month.

Commercial Contract Manager key responsibilities include:
8. Leading the commercial function across responsive repairs and maintenance services
9. Overseeing compliance aspects including gas, electric and health and safety
10. Overseeing budgets, cost control and financial forecasting to ensure value for money
11. Managing contractor relationships, procurement activities and performance frameworks
12. Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
13. Identifying opportunities for service improvement, efficiency savings and innovation
14. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction
The successful Commercial Contract Manager will have:
15. Strong experience in a Commercial Contract Manager role within social housing, repairs or maintenance and compliance
16. Proven ability to manage external teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
17. Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and cost control
18. Experience in contractor management and procurement processes
19. Good understanding of compliance, health & safety and regulatory standards
20. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong leadership skills
