Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced dispensing opticians who are registered with the GOC
Responsibilities
* Provide dispensing services and optometric support to ensure a high level of patient care and service quality.
* Liaise with Optometrists to ensure that each customer receives a consistent quality handover.
* Manage aftersales service, including handling complaints and problem solving in a customer-focused manner.
* Assist in achieving individual and team sales targets through professional sales techniques.
Role Overview
Our dispensing opticians are the face of our clinic on the shop floor and are often part of the store management team. The role includes management responsibilities and opportunities for professional development through ILM courses, contact lens progression, and the Specsavers Partnership Pathway. This can support progression toward leadership roles in the future.
