Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a programme focused on legacy design investigation. The role involves assessing existing mechanical designs, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.
Contract Details:
* Inside IR35 - £45-52.00ph DOE
* 9 month contract
* Hybrid working - 3 days on site, 2 from home
Key Responsibilities
* Root cause analysis on legacy mechanical designs
* Investigate mechanical issues
* Review and update existing engineering drawings and documentation
* Collaborate with wider team to understand design history and operational performance
* Prepare technical reports
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in mechanical design & analysis
* Experience with legacy design / investigation
* Experienced with NX or CATIA
