An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rural Surveyor to join a leading land management and consultancy team based in Cambridge. This is a senior-level role offering a blend of estate management and professional advisory work, supporting some of the most prestigious rural clients in the region.
The Role
As a key member of the team, you'll act as principal agent for a selection of estate clients, delivering strategic advice and overseeing day-to-day asset management. You'll also contribute to business development and team leadership, helping to shape the future of the consultancy offering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead estate and farming business reviews
2. Manage diversification projects and strategic land use
3. Deliver secured lending and professional valuations
4. Ensure compliance with internal and client standards
5. Oversee a high-performing team and maintain strong client relationships
6. Identify and develop new business opportunities
Candidate Profile
We're looking for a confident and capable professional with:
7. MRICS qualification (Rural pathway preferred), with 3-5 years PQE
8. CAAV membership or willingness to obtain
9. Proven experience across estate management and rural consultancy
10. Strong leadership potential and client relationship skills
11. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
12. A flexible and composed approach to working under pressure
13. A commitment to confidentiality and professional discretion
