We're seeking a fully trained Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support both reactive and planned maintenance across our clients site. If you're hands-on, mechanically skilled, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities: Perform statutory and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults Carry out repairs and rebuilds as needed Manufacture replacement parts (lathe/milling experience preferred) Assist with installation of new equipment to specification Operate portable tools and plant equipment safely Perform welding and fabrication tasks Maintain accurate records using our CMMS system Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter/Technician NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred) Strong time management and organisational skills IT literate with experience using maintenance systems Flexible with working hours and overtime Experience with CAD/SolidWorks, automation, or robotics (advantageous) Basic electrical competence (preferred) What's the benefits for you?
