Job Purpose To have day-to-day conduct of commercial ULR files both non-litigated and litigated small claims, set up cases and liaise with Brokers / commercial clients. Key Duties & Responsibilities To assist in the progress in an appropriate and timely manner, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices To assess losses at all times to ensure that all the clients and source receive appropriate, professional and timely manner Ensure pertinent legal advice is provided and client are kept fully informed on the progress of the claim in support of the file handlers To achieve and exceed all targets To deal with post, telephone calls and emails expeditiously and to ensure that not worked on lists and to do lists are kept up to date To ensure that all referred cases are opened and progressed To keep brokers and / or commercial clients informed To provide on-going support to the file handlers Experience & Knowledge Experience of Insurance Litigation Experience An ability to work in an organised manner Excellent client care and communication skills Experience of working with a case management system An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities Good IT / Keyboard skills Attention to detail Team player Here at Carpenters group diversity and inclusion matters, it is integral to our culture and we welcome applications from everyone.
