Are you an inspiring and visionary Head of Maths seeking a leadership role within an outstanding independent school in Doncaster?

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced and passionate Head of Maths to lead and further develop a successful Mathematics department within a respected independent school in Doncaster, commencing in April 2026.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Key Stages: KS3–KS5

The successful candidate will provide strategic and academic leadership for Maths, delivering an ambitious and intellectually rigorous curriculum that fosters confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine appreciation of mathematics. They will inspire both students and colleagues, ensuring the department continues to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

* Monitor student progress and outcomes, using assessment data to inform teaching and raise achievement.

* Promote mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and enrichment through competitions and wider school initiatives.

* Contribute actively to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the school.

Essential Requirements

* A degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

* A genuine passion for mathematics and high-quality education.
