There may be a requirement to support the wider materials team within the business from time to time. Your mission As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the following: Ensure that site sampling and laboratory testing is carried out to high standards of safety, quality and efficiency Ensure that adequate and proper records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the requirements of the laboratory management system and UKAS requirements Ensure that sampling and testing is carried out to the appropriate British/European Standards Ensure test equipment is checked, cleaned and maintained to an acceptable level Communicating regularly and effectively with internal/external clients/site engineering staff on testing requirements Who are we looking for? In-situ testing in accordance with relevant standards. xxuwjjq Materials/Aggregate sampling and testing in accordance with all relevant standards Concrete sampling/testing in accordance with all relevant standards Maintaining high standards of work and compliance with UKAS accreditation requirements Previous experience of working within a busy UKAS accredited laboratory NVQ Level 2 or equivalent an advantage CSCS card Whats in it for you?
