Production Operative Chandlers Ford ?? Rate: £14.29 p/h (increase after qualifying period) (£29,723 £32,874 per annum) ?? Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday Our client is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their Manufacturing team, based at their Chandlers Ford site. This is a hands-on, practical role involving the assembly of a range of components including couplings, engines, electric motors, and pump body units. You will be working from manufacturing drawings, ensuring assemblies meet required standards and deadlines. Tasks include use of overhead cranes to connect body units and engines, preparing and setting engines to specific RPM, testing (vacuum and water), finishing assemblies, and preparing goods for inspection and delivery. What Were Looking For: ?? Previous experience using tools, either professionally or as a hobby/interest ?? Experience in a production or assembly environment ?? Ability to read and follow assembly drawings/instructions ?? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ?? Able to work independently and use initiative ?? Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn ?? NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical subject (or equivalent experience) ?? Mechanical engineering experience desirable, but not essential ?? Forklift Truck licence/overhead crane experience beneficial (training provided if needed) Why Apply? ?
