We are looking for calm, reliable and emotionally intelligent Support Worker to join a small, consistent team supporting a young person with autism in the home and community. This is a 2:1 support package, and the focus is on building trust, maintaining routine, and supporting emotional regulation in a safe and respectful way. About the role You will be supporting a young person who experiences difficulties with communication, transitions and managing emotions. At times, this can lead to behaviours that challenge, including self-injury and physical behaviours towards others.
