We're supporting a major enterprise data transformation and need a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer to deliver scalable, cloud‑native data solutions across ingestion, modelling, orchestration, and automation.
What You’ll Do
* Build and optimise Azure data pipelines using Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python.
* Develop robust ETL/ELT processes across Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL.
* Deploy Logic Apps and Function Apps for automation and integration.
* Implement DataOps and CI/CD practices for faster, high‑quality delivery.
* Ensure strong data quality, governance, and security.
* Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams.
* Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
Key Skills
* Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake.
* Python & SQL.
* Logic Apps / Function Apps.
* Data modelling & architecture best practice.
* CI/CD for data workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
* Strong grounding in data security and governance.
Nice to Have
* Azure Fabric or ML/AI exposure.
* Experience supporting ERP/S4HANA‑related data programmes.
