2026 Graduate Programme - Property & Buildings - Building Services. We are looking for Graduates for our Building Services teams who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with diverse clients and projects.
We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations:
* Building Services: London, Basingstoke, Brighton, Cambridge, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh.
* Smart Buildings: London
* Public Health: London
A little bit more about your role and the team… Working as a Graduate in one of our Building Services teams will involve working on exciting and innovative projects including large office buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, data centres and education buildings.
Responsibilities
* Designing, developing, and maintaining essential building systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, and public health services) to ensure functionality, safety, and comfort.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and being mentored by experienced engineers; gaining exposure to real-world challenges and innovative solutions.
* Participating in projects such as 1 Undershaft, 22 Bishopsgate, 40 Leadenhall, Leeds Hospital of the Future programme, high-scale data centres, and airport-related works.
* Carrying out day-to-day activities including site inspections, drafting mechanical or electrical layouts (Revit or AutoCAD), reviewing technical drawings, and assisting in tender preparation.
* Supporting sustainability assessments and the development of Building Technology and Energy & Sustainability solutions as part of integrated teams.
* Engaging with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and present outputs during project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
* Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
* Interest in Building Services or Technology Systems and a desire to contribute to the future of the built environment.
* Ability to research, learn, and analyse technologies and operating processes; awareness of building systems including lighting and security.
* Enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving; ability to share ideas and inspire others.
* Commitment to professional development and chartership opportunities; interest in pursuing chartered or incorporated status with professional bodies.
* Eligibility to start work in September 2026 and the ability to complete the application and online assessments as part of the selection process.
