Manufacturing Engineer Location: Hinckley Salary: £46,000-£50,000 We are partnered with a growing engineering organisation that specialises in the design, development, and production of advanced robotic control systems and autonomous vehicles. As part of continued growth, they are looking to expand their manufacturing and production capabilities and are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in establishing a new production line from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys building processes, shaping production environments, and working closely with engineering and operations teams in a high-integrity, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Support the setup and optimisation of a new production line, from initial concept through to full production Work closely with design and engineering teams during NPI to ensure smooth transition into manufacture Develop and improve manufacturing processes, documentation, and workflows Diagnose and resolve pre-FAT issues, including PLC-related fault finding Support continuous improvement across manufacturing and assembly operations What You'll Need British citizenship is essential due to work within the Defence and Nuclear sectors (security clearance required) Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) Experience using CAD within a manufacturing or production environment Working knowledge of PLC fault finding for troubleshooting and diagnostics 4-9 years' experience within an automotive or similarly structured manufacturing environment Interview Process First-stage Teams interview with the Hiring Manager Second-stage on-site interview Interviews are being scheduled this week, with the aim of completing the hiring process by next week.
