Location: York
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to teach a range of humanities subjects within a secondary school in York.

Humanities Teacher Responsibilities
* Teach Humanities subjects at KS3 and KS4
* Plan engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Support pupil progress and exam readiness
* Encourage curiosity and independent thinking
* Work collaboratively within the department
Requirements
* QTS with Humanities background
* Experience teaching History, Geography or RE
* Strong classroom management skills
* Commitment to inclusive teaching
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
