The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Site Manager, you will be working with the Plant Manager in leading the improvement and delivery of the site's financial performance, as well as assist in strategic planning, site forecasting and providing finance insight into business cases. You will be responsible for providing financial information in a timely manner to enable the decision-making process of the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team. You will also line manage 2 staff members, both on-site and remotely.
Duties
* Analyse financial and operational data to generate clear performance insights, partnering with Site Process Managers to drive measurable improvements.
* Lead site budgeting and forecasting by product, covering volumes, manufacturing standards, variances, fixed costs, Capex and inventory — proactively challenging assumptions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
* Own site period-end reporting, delivering robust variance analysis against budget and forecast with clear, actionable commentary.
* Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to site leadership, supporting operational and strategic decision-making.
* Manage FX forecasting to ensure accurate financial planning and risk visibility.
* Monitor and report on headcount against budget, highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Continuously review and strengthen internal financial controls as processes evolve.
* Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth and compliant audit processes.
* Enhance closed job analysis reporting, delivering timely and insightful information to the FP&A Site Manager.
Experience
* Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
* Experience of accounting in a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Previous experience of working with ERP / Finance Systems.
* Experience of managing financials for Capex projects.
* Management accounts experience (Balance sheet, inventory valuation, fixed assets etc).
* Excellent Cost Accounting knowledge and experience (using standard costs / cost models).

* £50,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
