Contribute to the development of our cloud and embedded systems strategy. Implement telemetry events and alarms to enhance customer operations. Propose hardware solutions aligned with strategic goals. Develop and maintain best practice standards for network and cloud systems. Improve UI and backend systems for connected solutions. Support field trials and customer deployments. Scope and specify sensors and actuators for custom applications. £40,000-£50,000 ( negotiable) salary 6% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (BHols) & company bonus of roughly 5%. Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with IoT hardware design (Routers, SoMs, Antennas, RTOS). Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTML, LoRaWAN). Understanding of internet protocols and cloud-based communication. Strong grasp of IoT security requirements and best practices. Ability to engage with suppliers and scope future IoT projects. The job is Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30pm. This is daytime working (there are no revolving shifts and no night working).
