Bond Williams are supporting an innovative medical device start-up in London in the search for a Supply Chain & Materials Lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring all materials required for pilot manufacturing are available, controlled and fully traceable from receipt through to finished product shipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement of materials required for pilot manufacturing
* Coordinate supplier relationships and delivery schedules
* Monitor supplier performance and reliability
* Oversee receipt, inspection and storage of incoming materials
* Maintain accurate inventory and materials records
* Organise warehouse layout and ensure correct material identification and handling
* Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing runs
* Manage finished goods storage and coordinate shipment preparation
* Ensure full material traceability throughout the process
Requirements
1. Experience in supply chain, materials management or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
2. Experience working with suppliers, procurement and inventory control
3. Strong organisational and planning skills
