Responsibilities
The Senior Contract Manager has overall responsibility for the project lifecycle, with a key focus on client management and building client networks. Responsibilities include ensuring full compliance on sites (health and safety, environmental requirements), managing finances and budgets, promoting innovative approaches to project works, and leading a team of contract managers and planners to deliver high‑quality works.
* 5+ years working within the rail industry
* 5+ years management experience
* Industry knowledge of arboriculture and rail
* Experience working with different stakeholders
* Full UK driving licence – travel required
Qualifications
* Experience working in a manual role within the industry or similar
* Holds COSS and SMSTS qualification (training will be provided)
* HSQE qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH
* Strong understanding of managing finances and budgets
* Excellent client management and networking skills
