Equipment & Facilities
The department has 9 MRI scanners across Hull and Castle Hill Hospital sites and the HNY Mobile service. This includes a 1.5 T Siemens Aera, a 3 T GE 75, a 1.5 T GE Artist, a 1.5 T Siemens Sola; a second 3 T scanner is planned for September 2026. Two Philips Ingenia mobile scanners are also available, and a Siemens Sola will join the fleet at the New CDC facility in May 2026, bringing the total to 10 scanners.
Responsibilities
Scanning across two sites and potential CDC and mobile sites, you will have on‑call responsibilities, work across all specialties, and be responsible for your own workload and the training of peers and students. Opportunities can be tailored to suit your individual interests and skills.
