Multi-Trader – Residential Property Maintenance
Location: London (Office/Store based in Wood Green) Salary: £40,000 – £50,000k Hours: Monday–Friday | 08:30–17:30 | No call-out

Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Trader to replace a long-serving senior engineer who is retiring. This is a key position with high expectations, excellent long-term stability, and progression as the business continues to grow.
You will carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and refurbishment works across private residential properties throughout London.
Key Responsibilities
* Painting & decorating
* Flooring installation and repairs
* Carpentry (1st & 2nd fix)
* Plumbing-focused maintenance and repairs
* Basic electrical works
* Kitchen & bathroom refurbishments
* Reactive maintenance in occupied homes
* Producing professional reports and photographs
* Maintaining excellent customer service with tenants, agents & clients
* Collecting materials from the Wood Green office 2–3 times per week
* Working to high presentation and cleanliness standards at all times
Coverage Area
* Central, East, West & parts of South-East London
* Including Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, Canary Wharf, Bow, Bethnal Green & Woolwich
* Candidates based East / North-East London preferred
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch)
* No out-of-hours or call-out rota
* Occasional overtime if a job overruns (paid at standard rate, subject to approval)
Salary & Benefits
* £40,000 – £46,000 basic
* Service review bonus: £15–£50 per positive review
* 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
* Company van (new / nearly new – 2023/2024 plates, can be taken home)

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ multi-trade experience
* Strong all-round skills with plumbing bias
* Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
* Professional, presentable, customer-focused approach
* Able to write clear reports
* Full UK driving licence required
o Up to 3 points considered (insurance cost deducted)
* No criminal record
* Own basic hand & battery-powered tools required
Interview Process
* Initial phone conversation
* 1–2 day paid trial with the team
* Full handover and training with the outgoing senior engineer
