Project Coordinator – Engineering & Infrastructure (IT)
Location: Hybrid – Cambridge
Type: 6 month contract
Rate: £400-£450 Inside IR35
We are partnering with a leading global organization in search of a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support their Engineering and Core Infrastructure delivery portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at multitasking, and is comfortable working with technical and cross-functional teams across the globe.
The Role:
As Project Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in supporting the successful delivery of small-scale infrastructure projects that have a real impact on global IT and engineering operations. You'll act as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and delivery.
Your responsibilities:
Coordinate and track end-to-end delivery of infrastructure-focused IT projects
Maintain project plans, monitor milestones, and flag risks/issues proactively
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and cloud teams across geographies
Provide regular status updates and keep stakeholders aligned
Act as a bridge between infrastructure delivery and technical users
Your Experience:
2–4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Junior PM role (ideally in a tech/engineering setting)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong familiarity with technical project environments (infrastructure, cloud, DevOps)
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or similar tools
Team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
Desirable:
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery methodologies
Understanding of infrastructure domains such as compute, storage, network, or CI/CD
Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or CAPM
