Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
Role Description:
We are looking for a Group Operations Manager to lead our EMEA Leasing Operations team in Bromley. The team comprises 15 leasing professionals supporting Bank of America’s asset finance business across various asset classes including shipping vessels, aircraft, rail, commercial vehicles, and technology hardware/software.
The EMEA Leasing business has grown significantly over the past 5 years, processing around 700 new transactions, 10,000 billing events, and 35,000 cash items annually.
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities include:
* Leading the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services within operations.
* Managing projects and directing activities related to special initiatives.
* Providing technical expertise, guidance, and training to team members and business partners.
* Building relationships across various Lines of Business.
* Defining responsibilities and accountability for key programs and projects.
* Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with business approvals for deals.
* Approving and processing transactions for funding and booking them into the ALFA Lease Management system.
* Handling end-of-lease documentation, early terminations, and amendments.
* Managing customer service activities and audit requests.
* Overseeing cash reconciliation and reporting using Frontier.
This role also involves management responsibilities such as recruitment, training, performance management, and reporting to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
* Extensive management experience in a comparable company.
* Leasing or Loans experience is highly desirable.
* Experience in business partnering or client-facing roles is highly desirable.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
