Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to perform at their best, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Need to Do:

* Create a caring and supportive environment where your team feels valued, celebrated, and nurtured, role-modeling a coaching culture within management.
* Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety, equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
* Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, proactively spotting opportunities.
* Build a strong, developing team through recruitment and ongoing growth, fostering personal and professional development.
* Be a forward-thinking problem solver, able to make quick decisions on your feet.

What We Look For:

* Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, complex environment.
* Strong communication skills, capable of having genuine conversations that ensure your team feels heard and supported.
* Proven experience maintaining high standards in food safety, health, and safety, and managing financial performance including GP and stock control.
* Ability to manage labor costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team, fostering an inclusive, respectful environment where everyone belongs.
* A proactive problem solver with quick decision-making skills.
