This is a permanent role based out our Sheffield Office 4 days a week.
As ASK4s Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of Health and Safety and Facilities functions across the ASK4 Group. Working in the office 4 days a week your responsibilities will include managing document control, reviewing Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS), liaising with contractors, and coordinating training.
What youll be doing:
Provide administrative support to the health and safety and facilities team. Including management of the joint inbox.
Keep documents up to date and accurate for health and safety site pages.
Check and approve RAMS, both for ASK4 and sub-contractor jobs.
Manage suppliers and contractors, including the onboarding of new contractors.
Carry out and review risk assessments (including COSHH assessments) and develop safe systems of work.
Administer DSE assessments and complete any actions to support colleagues, including ordering of equipment.
Ensure First Aiders have up to date training.
Support with and run Toolbox Talks on topics covering lone working, safe driving and fire safety.
Support the business with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data gathering and related duties.
Complete contractor appraisal documentation and administration for safety schemes in procurement and other industry bodies as required.
Ensure accidents and incidents are properly investigated and recorded.
Support with the continuous improvement of the health and safety and facilities functions in general to ensure policies and procedures remain fit for growth.
Coordinate and administer premises compliance of ASK4 buildings and premises, in partnership with the building managers.
Our ideal candidatewill have:
A keen interest in and good knowledge of Health and Safety.
Strong skills in Microsoft 365 including excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Great organisation and fantastic attention to detail.
We operate in 13 countries, any additional European language is an advantage!
Any First Aid or H&S training / certificates are a bonus!
