An established main contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to support tendering across commercial and residential projects up to £5m.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications and BOQs
* Analysing tender documents and identifying risks/opportunities
* Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Producing tender submissions and supporting documentation
* Liaising with pre‑construction and delivery teams during handover
Requirements
* Previous estimating experience within a main contracting environment
* Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
* Competent with estimating software and Excel
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
