Manchester City Women aims to be the best women’s sporting organisation globally. We are recruiting a 1st Team Individual Development Coach to:
* Shape the environment and development of players.
* Plan, deliver, and review training sessions aligned with the team’s style and IDP targets.
* Implement game models and IDP targets, monitor and report on player development.
* Support talent identification to build a winning team, especially goalkeepers.

Your Impact
Training Session Planning and Delivery:
* Develop and document training plans focusing on technical and tactical IDP targets.
* Deliver engaging training sessions to develop players’ skills.
* Collaborate with coaching staff to meet IDP goals and support player potential.
Training and Match Review:
* Review training and matches against plans, focusing on IDPs.
* Work with performance analysts to enhance team and individual performance.
Learning and Development:
* Contribute to a learning environment for players and coaches.
* Continuously develop coaching methods and ideas.
Communication, Building Relationships and Leading:
* Maintain strong relationships with players and staff.
* Promote professional behaviors and a positive team environment.
* Participate actively in meetings to foster a high-performance environment.
Talent Identification and Development:
* Observe and identify talented players during training and matches.
* Work with academy staff to nurture talent and facilitate progression.
* Oversee development of delegated players on loan.
What we are looking for
* UEFA A Licence
* Experience as an elite goalkeeping coach in professional football.
* Understanding of Manchester City’s playing style.
* Experience planning and delivering training programs.
* Ability to motivate athletes and work under pressure.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience with technical football programs.
* Drive for excellence.
* Honest, open, and receptive to feedback.
* Previous experience in women’s professional football.
