AI Lead Solutions Architect | £750/day | Inside IR35 | 11 Month Contract | Mostly Remote
We are looking for a highly skilled AI Lead Solutions Architect to drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and ethically aligned AI solutions. You will play a key role in developing Target Operating Models (TOMs) to support enterprise-wide AI adoption and integration, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design of enterprise-level AI architectures and frameworks
* Develop and implement TOMs to support AI integration across the business
* Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and meet government and industry standards
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align AI initiatives with strategic goals
* Contribute to the development of reusable architecture patterns and internal capability building
* Support delivery teams by assuring technical quality and alignment with broader digital strategies
Required Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience designing and scaling AI solutions in complex, regulated environments
* Deep understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including model governance and responsible AI practices
* Technical expertise with tools and platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex, and open-source AI/ML stacks
* Experience implementing and scaling Agentic AI frameworks
* Strong background in regulated environments, with familiarity in risk-based AI assurance, DPIAs, data protection, and transparency requirements
* Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, deliverable solutions
* Strong technical authorship skills – able to write and structure architectural documentation independently
* Hands-on delivery experience, not just oversight – this role requires individual contribution
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
