Part-Time Medical Receptionist & Administrator
£25,500–£27,000 per annum - pro rata, based on a 40-hour week, equating to £15,300 to £16,200 for 24 hours per week – Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays (8am–5pm).
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, The Westminster Physiotherapy and Pilates Centre, located in the heart of Victoria. The clinic is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist and Administrator to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and become a long-term part of a supportive clinical environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front of house reception duties – welcoming clients and creating a positive first impression
2. Managing phone and email enquiries
3. Assisting patients with bookings and directing them to the appropriate clinician
4. Supporting Physiotherapists, Pilates Instructors, Massage Therapists, and Nutritionists
5. Opening and closing the clinic
6. Taking payments and handling billing processes
7. Using the clinic’s online practice management system
8. Liaising with insurance companies (billing and reporting)
9. Uploading and filing patient notes and reports
10. Coordinating with consultants and GPs
11. Maintaining confidentiality of patient and clinic data
12. Monitoring stock and supplies
13. Ensuring the clinic environment remains clean, tidy, and welcoming
Minimum requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical administration role
Preferred but not essential:
* Experience using TM3
Skills and Qualities:
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Team player with a proactive and adaptable attitude
* Reliable, organized, and efficient
* Friendly, polite, and empathetic
* Confident using IT systems and quick to learn new software
* Excellent verbal and written English skills
