Department: Mobilisation Team
Location: London
Reports To: Mobilisation Manager
Working Pattern: 90% home working; 10% office based
Join us at Lloyds Living as we redefine what it means to manage property in the UK. We're on an ambitious journey to become one of the country's largest and most trusted landlords, creating vibrant communities and delivering exceptional living experiences.
As our Migration Compliance Manager, you'll be part of a dynamic team safely and smoothly transitioning our PRS portfolio from our existing 3rd party agents into our in-house management team. If you love detail, thrive under time pressure and can turn complex findings into practical, business ready actions — this is your chance to make an impact and be part of something extraordinary.
Lead the end to end compliance due diligence for incoming PRS portfolios—ensuring every asset, record and obligation is correctly understood, validated, and ready for day one management. You'll identify gaps and risks early, drive resolution with managing agents, implement mitigations where deadlines are missed, and deliver clean system imports and exceptional handovers that set our internal property managers up for success.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1) Portfolio Due Diligence & Migration Readiness
* Plan and execute detailed DD reviews across tenancy, asset, H&S/compliance and financial data for Single Family Housing and low‑rise block portfolios.
* Validate statutory and regulatory evidence (e.g., gas/electrical safety, risk assessments where relevant, right to rent and deposit compliance), tenancy documentation, arrears/credit control and maintenance/defect positions.
* Assess operational readiness (repairs, PPM, void/let‑ready status) and surface any items that could impact day‑one service delivery.
2) Issue Identification, Resolution & Mitigation
* Maintain a live document and queries register with clear owners, due dates and acceptance criteria.
* Work closely with the managing agent to secure timely fixes; where deadlines slip, design and implement alternative mitigations and seek the right approvals.
3) Data, Systems & Imports
* Own the quality of source data extraction and mapping into our PMS (e.g., Qube / Fixflo), ensuring accurate system imports for units, tenancies, charges and compliance schedules.
* Reconcile imports; correct variances fast and document changes for auditability.
4) Handover & Enablement
* Produce clear, concise handover packs for incoming internal property managers—summarising anomalies, mitigations, residual risks, warranty/defect positions, key contacts and next steps.
* Brief operational teams so they understand what's different, where to focus, and how to maintain controls after go‑live.
5) Governance, Controls & Reporting
* Operate within agreed migration frameworks, SLAs and checkpoints; escalate blockers early with options and impact.
* Provide MI (readiness RAG, issue rate & burndown, compliance coverage, data quality) to senior stakeholders.
* Contribute to lessons‑learned so every migration gets faster, safer and simpler.
6) Partner & Stakeholder Management
* Build strong working relationships with managing agents and internal teams (Property Management, Lettings, Finance, Risk/Compliance).
* Challenge under‑performance constructively and agree recovery plans where needed.
Essential Requirements
* Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to synthesise complex technical evidence into practical, risk‑based actions.
* Property management experience in PRS/Build‑to‑Rent or large residential portfolios—comfortable translating findings into meaningful, operational mitigation.
* Proven ability to work to tight timeframes across multiple workstreams, keeping quality high.
* Strong grasp of UK residential compliance (e.g., landlord/tenant, H&S), plus good commercial awareness.
* Confident with excel, data handling and system migrations (source‑to‑target mapping, validation, reconciliation, defect management).
* Skilled stakeholder manager—clear communicator, calm under pressure, with sound judgement on when to escalate.
* Self‑starter who is self‑sufficient in identifying issues and implementing suitable mitigations.
Desirable Skills
* Experience migrating stabilised portfolios.
* Familiarity with PMS platforms Qube and Fixflo
We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
* A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
* An annual performance-related bonus
* Share schemes including free shares
* Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
* 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top
* A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
