Investment Assistant
* Annual Salary: £25,584 to £27,711
* Location: Sheffield (S4 postcode, plus site visits required)
* Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months initially)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Investment Assistant to join the team based in Sheffield. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of their electrical testing programme in customer homes, ensuring safety and compliance across the city. Day-to-day of the role:
* Facilitate access to properties to enable the team to conduct cyclical electrical testing inspections.
* Communicate effectively with customers, often in their homes, to explain and coordinate testing procedures, sometimes under challenging circumstances.
* Make recommendations to senior officers regarding legal actions to gain access to homes when necessary.
* Plan and prioritise your own workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Utilise IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, to manage and document tasks efficiently.
* Spend 50-60% of your time conducting site visits across the city, with the remainder split between office and remote work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Well-developed communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
* High levels of empathy and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Ability to work independently, plan and prioritise effectively.
* Good judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to escalate matters appropriately.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall IT skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to various working environments.
