Job Purpose:
To role of the One stop Shop Supervisor is to effectively supervise One Stop Shop colleagues ensuring the provision of an efficient Facilities Management service to Engineers & Customer sites on a consistent basis while managing the demands of the OSS. Managing aspects of people management for OSS colleagues and ensure a consistent approach.
Key Accountabilities:
•To represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all time and develop strong working relationships within the City Group and with outside contractors etc.
•To arrive at the appropriate time before the start of shift to plan and prepare and lead by example, maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring that all OSS colleagues arrive on time before the start of their shift.
•To liaise with the company’s Directors assisting with the on-going strategy of the business.
•To effectively manage self and all OSS colleagues in order to prioritise workloads ensuring departmental goals and objectives are met on an individual and team level.
•To conduct regular Team Leader meetings and address any issues that may arise.
•To manage absence within the OSS and conduct return to work interviews.
•To resolve any conflict within the OSS team quickly and effectively according to Company guidelines ensuring minimal disruption to the quality of service.
•To manage Colleague issues within the OSS and, where appropriate, apply the early stages of the Disciplinary Process.
•To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal and team job skills keep pace with technical and business developments.
• To work with the OSS Team Leaders to ensure that laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all time.
• To action any corrective actions highlighted in performance reviews and 1-1’s.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High degree of flexibility with regards to working hours.
• Strong people management skills.
• Working knowledge of the OSS.
• Familiarity with the Customer contracts.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to extract, collate and present performance data relevant to the business.
• Confident liaising at area and divisional level.
• Experience in developing strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Familiarity with assessment and disciplinary procedures desirable.
• Previous experience of delivering presentations to management desirable.
