Care Assistant – Residential Homes – Colne Are you a passionate Care Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to work within the Adult Services based in the Colne area. Pay Rates: £12.71 - £16.87 per hour Umbrella rate Information on the role: Successful candidates will be offered different shift patterns starting as ad hoc with potential to be added to the rota. Successful candidates must be over the age of 18 years old. The shifts would be for 08:00 – 15:30, 15:30 – 21:00/22:00 and some 22:00 – 08:00. What you will be doing: You will have to be confident participating in physical tasks such as, washing, dressing, bathing and feeding clients, including those with special needs arising from physical or mental deterioration. You will need to participate in social duties including talking and motivating clients, helping clients to maintain contact with family and community, assisting with shopping and organising group social activities. You will need to assist in the creation of a supportive and homely atmosphere where clients can achieve maximum independence. You will be co-operating with domestic staff to best meet the personal needs of the client. You will be contributing to the establishment records, including support plans.
