Reports to Manager, Nursing Services Qualifications Registered Nurse in the Province of Nova Scotia. Bachelor of Nursing degree or combination of relevant experience/education. Six to ten years of relevant work experience Experience in physical assessment required Experience in mental health considered an asset Experience in long term care and acute care considered an asset Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset Current knowledge in concepts and trends in nursing and management. Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certificate required WHMIS required GPA and PIECES required Certificate in Gerontology considered an asset Alzheimer’s and other related dementia care course considered an asset NVCI considered an asset Must have regular and consistent attendance in accordance with the Northwood corporate standard.
