We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Secretary to join our GP Practice on a part-time or fixed-term contract, working Wednesday to Friday as required.
Previous experience in a GP surgery as a Secretary or Hospital Secretary is essential.
We serve nearly 12,500 patients in Hampton. This is a great opportunity to join a hard-working and committed team of clinicians and administrators.
Responsibilities
* Submitting patient routine and 2 week wait referrals.
* Coordinating with patients and the appropriate care departments/agencies.
* Producing and submitting clinical letters and reports as requested/drafted by our GPs and Health Professionals.
* Dealing with clinician and patient queries regarding referrals, medical reports and insurance reports.
* Communicating effectively with individuals across the surgery and with third parties, with appropriate regard to confidentiality.
* Reviewing and submitting medical records to insurance companies, Subject Access Requests and 3rd party medical reports.
