SEND Teaching Assistant – Wellingborough / Kettering /Rushden area
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in specialist and mainstream settings across the Wellingborough, Kettering and Rushden area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children and young people with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential.
Location: Wellingborough and Kettering
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Long-Term / Supply
Salary: 89.38- 95 per day dependent on experience
The Role
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND
Support children with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD and other additional needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Monitor and report on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)
Patient, empathetic and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
