Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Adaptations, Assistant Team Manager this role will be: N22 6UX The right candidate will: * Conduct some supervisory functions within a team of Surveyors and Advice Assessment Officers, including Inductions, reporting on employee staff productivity, Assisting the Team Manager with formal management processes where necessary * Assist the Team Manager in ensuring that all stages of the Disabled Facility Grant (DFG) application and adaptation provision process comply with Council policy, statutory guidance, and legislation * Assist the Team Manager in ensuring that case file recording and client information are maintained on the Council’s Social Care Systems and completed according to standards and linked to Performance Indicators * Within delegated authority, assist the Team Manager in investigating complaints from Council Members, MPs, and members of the public in accordance with departmental procedures * Monitor and report on, Customer satisfaction, Contractors, Adaptation service KPIs, Value for money through the specification of works, additional works requests, and invoicing of completed adaptations * Attend site meetings with surveyors, service users, and other professionals to: Monitor progress, resolve issues, provide advice on matters raised We require the following: * All applicants (in addition to the other requirements), are expected to have a surveying or equivalent background, and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD * In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and codes of practice relevant to adaptations for individuals with disabilities, assisting in ensuring compliance across projects To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed) If you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.
