About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and building new strategic frameworks within partnership ecosystems. Your mission will be to recruit and collaborate with partners to integrate seamlessly with cutting-edge products. You will be at the forefront of closing strategic deals, working to create win-win solutions that benefit all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close key deals with a diverse ecosystem of ads and commerce partners.
* Navigate complex legal and business issues, crafting innovative solutions to ensure mutual success.
* Execute across a broad range of products, including mobile, video, advertising, big data, and commerce.
* analyse market trends to synthesise recommendations into actionable partnership plans.
* Lead cross-functional internal alignment to facilitate decision-making throughout the deal process.
* Collaborate with internal teams to define go-to-market strategies and secure buy-in from leadership.
* Represent the organisation in executive-level meetings with partner companies.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Sufficient years of experience in product partnerships, business development, or a related field within an internet or technology start-up environment.
* Expertise in structuring and negotiating complex partnership agreements.
* Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data and present findings effectively to senior leadership.
* A proactive approach to navigating ambiguity and working through early product lifecycle stages.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in business development and product partnerships.
* Familiarity with launching products and partnerships, particularly in the tech industry.
* Experience with leading workstreams in a collaborative environment.
* Comfort in engaging with external partners at the leadership level.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Google Suite and familiarity with advertising teams from major players like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, or Snap.
