Your Role
Join EF's summer team in Bournemouth as a Student Services Coordinator – a unique chance to enhance your customer service skills within an international setting. As the face of EF, you'll welcome students, create a vibrant atmosphere, and handle various tasks, making each day dynamic and rewarding. This role offers valuable experience across departments, paving the way for future opportunities within the company. Work closely with students and staff, honing communication and problem-solving skills.This role is a 4-12 week position running throughout June, July and August 2024, with potential for full time employment afterwards.
Responsibilities
1. Processesincoming bookings, modifications, cancellations in line with EF’s Golden Rules
2. Liaiseswith sales officesand other departmentsregardingenrolmentsto ensure entry and visa requirements are met, and school/accommodationcapacityisproperly managed
3. Coversreception duties on rotation with other staff
4. Dealswithgeneral dailystudent enquiries
5. Assistsstudents wishing to make course changes, encouraging upgrades and extensions, liaising with sales offices to obtain pricing
6. Arranges arrival transfers and liaises with airport reps and taxi companies
7. Assistswith direct sales enquiries showing prospective students around the school,providingquotationsand ensuring enquiries are followed up
8. Ensures reception area is kept clean, tidy & professionallooking at all times
9. Sharesthe emergency telephone rota with other staff
Requirements
10. Must be a team player that can lead from the front, be outgoing and have great attention to detail
11. Previous experience in a customer service environment, ideally working with young people
12. You should be passionate about customer service and providing quality
13. Ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
14. Legally able to work in the UK
15. Fluent in English
