Job Overview
We are looking for a self‑motivated and passionate Qualified Practitioner registered as either a Mental Health Nurse with the NMC, an Occupational Therapist with the HPCPA, or a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England to join our well‑established Early Intervention in Psychosis Service in Mid Essex. The role is Senior Care Coordinator based at The Gables in Braintree, supporting people from 14‑65 years experiencing a First Episode Psychosis across Mid Essex.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure professional code of conduct is upheld and all care is delivered in accordance with Trust’s care programme approach guidelines.
* Participate in the initial assessment of clients to determine appropriateness for the FEP Team and liaise with referring agencies.
* Undertake risk assessments and incorporate findings into care plans with the MDT.
* Deliver interventions within established time‑scales and according to best evidence‑based practice and operational policy.
* Adapt working patterns to meet client needs and National Service Framework guidelines.
* Provide clinical supervision and professional leadership to junior staff, promoting evidence‑based practice.
* Maintain up‑to‑date mandatory training and keep abreast of legislative and government initiatives relevant to Early Intervention in Psychosis.
