Sales Manager - IT Solutions
Location: New Malden, Greater London
Working arrangements: Hybrid (min of 3 days in the office)
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 basic + £40,000 OTE (Year 1)
A multi-award-winning UK managed service provider, specialising in data protection, cybersecurity, cloud storage, and IT solutions, is seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team. This role offers the chance to drive revenue growth and shape the commercial strategy for a fast-growing company serving mid-market businesses (phone number removed) users).
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and post-sale handover.
Grow new and existing accounts through whitespace mapping, gap analysis, and quarterly business reviews.
Manage and mentor the Account Management team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop account strategies with Business Development, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams.
Conduct weekly pipeline reviews, one-to-ones, and performance meetings.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports using CRM and analytics tools.
Shape go-to-market strategies and support demand generation campaigns.
Build strong relationships with vendors and distributors for joint initiatives.
Represent the company at events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Lead recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
5+ years in Team Leader / Sales Management. Most recent role MUST be with a Reseller / VAR or MSP.
Proven success in managing and scaling sales teams with measurable revenue results.
Strong strategic planning and execution of sales/marketing plans.
Ability to build trusted relationships with C-level clients and partners.
Hands-on leadership, ready to support complex deal closures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and sales analytics.
Passion for team development and collaborative leadership.
Skilled in Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
Willing to travel nationally and work flexible hours.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
