Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with students who require tailored, individual support?
Teaching Personnel is seeking patient, compassionate, and experienced tutors to deliver 1:1 tuition to students with a variety of SEN across Nottinghamshire. These sessions often take place outside of a mainstream school setting—either in the home, community centres, or other safe learning environments.
* Delivering personalised sessions in English, Maths and/or other subjects
* Supporting children and young people with diverse needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Building trusting relationships to help students engage and make measurable progress
* Collaborating with families, schools and support workers to create a consistent learning experience
* Experience working with SEN learners, either in education, care or youth services
* Ability to manage behaviour and respond to emotional needs calmly and professionally
* Flexibility and resilience – every student is different
* QTS, teaching assistants, support workers, or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply
* £25–£30 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE
