Overview
Medical Secretary role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran within the Trauma and Orthopaedic secretarial team. This position focuses on providing high quality administrative and secretarial support to a large team of Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants and Allied Health Professionals in a busy department. The role involves efficient scheduling of patient procedures across multiple sites within NHS Highland and contributing to a collaborative, professional, and improvement-focused work environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and secretarial support to Trauma and Orthopaedics Consultants and Allied Health Professionals.
* Coordinate and schedule patient procedures across multiple sites with attention to detail and timeliness.
* Support the administrative team to ensure smooth operation in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in a relevant administrative or secretarial role.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Initiative, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Information
Hours of work are 37 hours a week.
