Position Overview
The Operational Resilience Identify and Prepare Senior Manager leads the development and implementation of the bank's operational resilience framework, ensuring compliance with UK regulations (PRA, FCA, Bank of England).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Governance, Oversight, Resilience Activities, Education, and Engagement teams under the Identify and Prepare pillar
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maturity of the resilience framework, including identifying Important Business Services, impact tolerances, and mapping
* Oversee the delivery of BCM and OCiR compliance
* Lead governance forums, reporting, and regulatory adherence
* Deliver training programs to embed resilience culture
* Mentor a high‑performing team, driving continuous improvement and strategic enhancements across the organization
* Support the UK Operations strategy—including customer servicing, debt management, supplier governance, and operational resilience—to ensure standardisation, quality, and best practices
* Manage the operational resilience team's risk management, ensuring rapid recovery from disruptions and acting as the first line of defence in support of the Group's Fit for the Future programme
Work Environment
Colleagues will spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to meet the needs of the role and team.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as a leader or change agent with a track record in operational resilience
* Ability to manage projects and lead in a cross‑functional environment
* Strong communication skills and experience with senior management
* Proactive, innovative, and adaptive mindset
* Strong analytical and planning skills
* Effective decision‑making, team leadership, and mentoring
* Experience with UK regulatory frameworks and other relevant jurisdictions such as DORA
