Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Chemical Engineer to join our Bracknell team. The Technology Services (TS) Specialist position for Gasoline Technologies provides technical support for a range of UOP technologies including the Platforming and Isomerization processes. While the role frequently collaborates with other UOP departments, the focus is on customer interactions to help optimize, troubleshoot, and startup UOP technologies world-wide as well as enhance and improve our technologies through development and innovation. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for various UOP technologies, including NHT, CCR Platforming, Fixed Bed Platforming, and other light fuels process technologies to ensure optimal operation. Support both external (licensees, EPC contractors, vendors) and internal (Field Services, R&D, Engineering) customers in technology and service delivery projects. Facilitate the transfer of technology to customers' UOP-licensed units, enhancing reliability and profitability through digital services and regular interactions. Collaborate with UOP departments (R&D, Sales, Engineering) to ensure seamless technology and service delivery, participating in NPI and BTI projects. Champion continuous improvement initiatives in technologies and services, actively engaging in customer meetings and engineering review sessions. Conduct on-site audits of commercial units and prepare/upkeep operating manuals, process technology documentation, and training materials. Qualifications Key skills and qualifications Bachelors or Higher in Chemical Engineering. 5 years of relevant technical experience including UOP Field Operating Service, UOP Engineering, or equivalent industry. experience in process operations, technical service, or engineering design. Experience with at least one of the following UOP Technologies (Platforming & Light Naphtha Isomerization) is preferred. Works well in a team environment. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal skills; effective presentation skills and strong communication skills.
