About the Role:
As a Test Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and conducting function and pressure tests on hydraulic assemblies and components. Working with high-pressure test rigs, you will ensure that products conform to exact specifications, contributing directly to the business's quality assurance and operational efficiency.

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience
Hours of work - 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:30 16:00 Friday - 36.5 hours

Conduct function and pressure testing of hydraulic manifold assemblies, valve packs, and cartridges.
Use gauges, hoses, couplings, and flow meters to ensure all parts perform to the required standards.
Follow written test procedures accurately and ensure all test data is recorded.
Prepare test rigs and maintain associated equipment.
Assist with general assembly of hydraulic parts and support warehouse or painting tasks as needed.
Sign off pressure tests and certificates of conformity.
Support assembly and logistics departments when required.Skills & Experience:
Understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and symbols (desirable).
Experience in testing, assembly, or a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO9001:2008 quality procedures.
Proficient in reading assembly drawings and test instructions.
Basic data entry skills (experience with Sage 200 desirable).
Conscientious, well-organised, with a good attention to detail.
Able to work flexibly and manage changing tasks efficiently.
Full UK driving licence required.Desirable:
NFPC (National Fluid Power Centre) training or equivalent.
Forklift or heavy lifting experience (not essential).
