Join to apply for the Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care. We are recruiting for a Full time Support Worker and also Bank/Casual Support Workers to join our team.
At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire, we support 4 fun and outgoing individuals to live in their own flats in a shared building. The people we support have faced challenges in the past due to learning disabilities, mental health and trauma, and are looking for friendly, caring and supportive people to help them build confidence and improve independent living skills.
The people we support enjoy activities such as socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making TikToks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, games and barbecues in their shared garden. A driver is essential for this role due to the location and restricted public transport.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Medication administration
* Cooking
* Encouraging the people we support to clean and maintain their homes and manage their finances
* Supporting social situations and responding in a trauma-informed way
* Support with 24-hour coverage, shifts including day shifts, back shifts, waking nights and sleepovers, with some weekend work
* Follow shift patterns as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in care as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable
* Driver is essential for the role
* Willingness to undergo training and PPE provision; commitment to ongoing development
